Counter-terrorism

The prevention of terrorist threats is among the national security priorities of the Republic of Guinea. The Special services contribute to this in support of the competent administrations, respecting each one’s own powers.

This contribution aims to help anticipate such threats, with a view to protecting the population and institutions, and not to conducting operations that fall within the remit of other State authorities.

It is carried out within the applicable legal framework and in cooperation with regional and international partners, presented more broadly on the Regional cooperation page.
