Cybersecurity

The security of information systems is a national security issue in its own right. In Guinea, the Agence nationale de sécurité des systèmes d’information (ANSSI — the National Information Systems Security Agency), established by Decree D/266/PRG/SGG/2016, is the national authority dedicated to this field.

The Special services operate in this area in cooperation with ANSSI, not in duplication of its powers. Their contribution concerns the information security aspects that fall within their own intelligence mandate.

For any question relating to information systems security in the broader sense, ANSSI remains the national point of reference.
