Economic and mining security

The mining sector occupies a central place in Guinea’s economy. Protecting the national economic interests associated with it is, accordingly, one of the areas of attention of the Special services.

This mission consists of contributing, in support of the competent administrations and authorities, to safeguarding the State’s strategic economic interests, particularly in the mining sector and the industries that depend on it.

It is carried out in complementarity with the relevant sectoral administrations, without substituting for their own prerogatives, and within the legal framework presented on the Legal framework page.
